THE ANSWERS

1. My De Dietrich boiler has suddenly broken down. What should I do?
Before calling an after-sales service, we would advise you to check :
  • that the water, gas or electricity supply has not been cut,
  • that the fuses of your system have not deteriorated,
  • that the control settings are in the correct position.
When you call the after-sales service, don't forget to specify:
  • Your name, first name and address, with detail if necessary and a phone number
  • the type of appliance which has broken down (have a look at the instructions for the appliance if necessary),
  • the nature of the problem and the symptoms that have been observed
  • the days when it is not convenient to have the heating engineer call at your home.

2. I bought a City boiler one year ago and need to change a part. Is my boiler under guarantee?
Yes. Your City boiler, including accessories and components, is generally guaranteed for 2 years. Please contact your De Dietrich sales person for more information

3. I have to change a part in my boiler and I have mislaid the proofs of purchase and guarantee for my installation. What can I do ?
The guarantee starts at the purchase date of the appliance by the user, as shown on the date of the invoice. The purchase date should also be certified by the guarantee certificate which is attached to the appliance and / or bearing the stamp of the fitter.
If there is no proof of purchase (no invoice and no certificate), the date of purchase will be considered to be the date of manufacture plus 6 months. This date can be found on the rating plate of your appliance.

4. I have mislaid the instruction book for my boiler. How can I get hold of another copy ?
All the instructions books for De Dietrich appliances are included on this site. To find one, just click here.
